The minerals of the eclogite have completely disappeared and the rock is an amphibolite with green Hornblende and Plagioclase.

The minerals of the eclogite have completely disappeared and the rock is an amphibolite with green Hornblende and Plagioclase.
However, the spherical clusters with white plagioclase and +/- hornblende suggest the occurrence of previous garnets: above, macro (white segment: 1 cm) and below, under the microscope.
On the other hand, the amphibolite below shows the trace of the foliation plane (parallel to the long side of the screen) and has lost the memory of its previous paragenesis
